InvoiceOcean - news
Karolina, 2020-08-10
Hello! The holiday season is in full swing, but we hope you will find a moment to see what's new in the system. In July, among other things, we worked on new improvements regarding recurring invoices. Enjoy!
1. InvoiceOcean allows you to import bank payments directly into the system to track the status of invoice payments. The list of banks is still growing, therefore the names of banks have been arranged alphabetically. You can find them in the Import tab.
2. When issuing recurring documents, you can use variables that will adjust the content of the documents as needed. The list of variables has been extended by the {{year+/-n}} variable.
3. Another novelty regarding recurring invoices is the way of displaying the list of cycles: for easier data management, a page number has been added and the possibility to sort cycles by name.
4. Each paid invoice in InvoiceOcean may display a graphic marked “paid”. The option to display said graphic has been enabled for the accounting note.
5. User activities are information about operations performed by people who have access to an account in InvoiceOcean. The list of activities is extended to include activities related to printing a call for a payment.

Freight Industry in the US needs Better Invoicing Standards
Invoicing is a process that takes some effort and standardization in order for companies to function effectively for the long term. It is good to stick with one standard in terms of what is expected on an invoice, the payment to be delivered by the due date, and for companies to be able to follow their invoices (knowing which were paid and when for instance) for the long term with their clients.
